Operations Manager – Daytime – €55k

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager for our client, a leading food services provider based in Cork.

Location: Cork City

Salary: €50-55k

Hours: Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities

• Leads a strong team that provides operational expertise in service delivery while providing hands-on management of operations.
• Manages the client and community relationships at the location, continually assessing operations, and supports developing plans to provide optimal service and drive employee and customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Builds, develops and leads a management team and staff capable of carrying out organisational objectives to the highest standards.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on operational needs/capabilities, and client objectives.
• Manage a budget and assists in the design of improvements to optimise financial performance and operational productivity.
• Manages legislative compliance and maintains all associated records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with company SOPs, including safety standards and Business Conduct.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years experience with hotels or contract catering 
• Experience within a 5* hotel would be advantageous
• A high degree of knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP, Facilities Management a plus
• A passion for fresh food and service.
