Executive Sous Chef – Daytime – €80k

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Executive Sous Chef for our client, a leading food services rpovider based in Cork.
In this position you will manage the team and ensure food production and is carried out to the highest standards. This is a busy operation and you will need to be very hands-on and customer focused.
Location: Cork City
Salary: €70-80k
Hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday
*The ideal candidate would be coming from a 5* background or high end corporate catering*
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a large team of Culinary professionals in their service delivery in a fast paced environment.
- Ensure that the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in the kitchens and associated areas in line with current legislation.
- Training and mentoring of team along with food development.
- To promote energy, innovation, and food culture across numerous kitchens and motivation of a large team culinary professionals.
- Maintain good communications and working relationships with your team, customers, and the wider team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a leader of a substantial kitchen brigades with responsibility for food production and labour management.
- 5+ years experience in a 4*or 5* hotel – people development / finance / stake holder management
- Proven track record in multiple high volume kitchens – scale / innovation
