Executive Sous Chef – 5* Hotel – Ireland

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Sous Chef for our client, a beautiful 5* property in Wicklow.
This property can assist with accommodation and relocation
Location : Wicklow, Ireland
Salary: €65k – €70k
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and delivery of new menu concepts
- Manage and oversee the smooth running of the day to day operation in the kitchen
- Maintain consistently high standards and quality across all areas of the food operation
- Understand the budget and work to the agreed targets on food cost, labour hours, sundries and wastage
- Recruitment, training and retention of team members
- To set personal and department objectives for direct reports and to monitor and review on a regular basis
- Review staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
- Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a 5* Hotel
- Experience in a Michelin starred property would be advantageous
- Management and organisational skills are essential
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
