Deputy General Manager – Daytime €50k

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy General Manager for our client, a leading foods services company based in Dublin Airport.
Location: Dublin Airport
Salary: €50-52k
Hours: 5 over 7 days. Daytime hours
Key responsibilities:
- To effectively and efficiently manage the food and beverage offer in all units to deliver on required company standards in respect of presentation, taste, consistency and quality.
- Driving sales and provide operational support during peak service periods to monitor and improve all aspects of service delivery.
- Supervise the presentation of hot and cold food and presented to required specifications.
- Conduct weekly unit inspections completing checklists and ensuring that company and Best Practise procedures are being followed.
- Ensure a continuously high standard of food hygiene is maintained in all units and that all HACCP records are completed in line with company procedures, legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all purchases, delivery dockets and invoices are entered into the system correctly
- Manage stock usage verses cost prices impacting the units GP.
- Monitor and review staff on the job performance to identity training and development needs and communicated to General Manager.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hotel or hospitality background
- Strong operational, business and financial skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – spoken and written
- Good working knowledge & experience of HACCP and ISO systems and procedures.
