We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie for our client, a leading corporate catering company based in Cork City.
Location: Cork City
Salary: €17-18 p/h DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of your designated section, ensuring dishes are prepared and served on time.
- Assist with menu planning and the development of new recipes.
- Oversee and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure food is prepared according to company standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
