Bar Manager – Clare Hotel – €45k 

We are currently recruiting a Bar Manager for our client based in a buzzing property in Clare. The ideal candidate will have experience managing inventory and a passion for developing their team. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Liaise with suppliers and receive bar stock in a secure, controlled manner.
• Schedule the staff based off business needs.
• Manage and carry out effective stock control, stock rotation and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Flexibility across the various outlets to ensure a smooth overall running of the property.
• Identify trends and make exciting additions to the current offering.
• Ensure and maintain security of cash, credit cards and reception floats. Assure all transactions and banking are conducted with no variance.
• Complete Daily, Weekly, Monthly reporting and adhere to company accountancy standards
• Develop, maintain and implement appropriate recorded training for the department including departmental induction and SOP

Ideal Candidate:

• Have previous experience in the Bar/Hotel industry.
• Very well presented.
• Have the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a  fast paced environment
• Highly motivated individual as there is progression within this role.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent understanding of financial and inventory management
