Assistant Restaurant Manager

South Dublin, Full Time

We are currently recruiting for Assistant Restaurant Manager for our client, a vibrant restaurant.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with the daily management of the Food & Beverage operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the restaurant and bar areas are fully set up before each shift prepared for service. 
  • To ensure that all food & drinks are served correctly, professionally and promptly in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • To co-operate with regard to cleaning schedules as requested by the General Manager.
  • To ensure that dockets are written correctly and legibly, minimising errors to ensure effective communication with the kitchen.
  • To be aware of and adhere to prevailing legislation in relation to the service of food and drink.
  • To be completely familiar with all of the company’s products and services and sell them to guests as appropriate.
  • To maintain training standards for all new team members.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 1-2 years experience as a F&B supervisor or Restaurant Managerial Role.
  • Self-motivated, standards driven and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise & delegate
  • Warm, friendly and courteous at all times
