Hotel Spa Therapist

Salary: €15 plus per hour

Location: Galway

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide range of spa treatments (e.g., massage, facials, body scrubs, manicures/pedicures) in accordance with training and standards.
• Provide professional wellness consultations to recommend appropriate treatments and home care.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and presented to the highest standard.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• Support the overall operation of the spa, including reception cover and retail sales as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa products, trends, and techniques.
• Comply with all health & safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Promote the spa and hotel facilities and encourage repeat business.

Candidate:

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent (CIDESCO, ITEC, or CIBTAC preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role within a spa or hotel environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for wellness and providing outstanding guest service
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of luxury skincare brands (e.g., Elemis, ESPA, or similar) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a professional appearance
