Salary: €38k + Bonus

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The overall success and operation of the Banqueting and Events department.
• Assisting your team in developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth
• Be collaborative and creative in thinking of ways to convert potential business with unique and exciting ideas
• Demonstrating leadership by inspiring your team to accomplish daily goals and targets and developing their skills in luxury hotel environment
• Ensuring our colleagues are nurtured and challenged within their roles to ensure peak performance
• Ensuring a highly effective operation to create and deliver memorable experiences, maximising revenue and profitability across all areas in line with budget expectations
• Running the operation and be responsible for taking the event from coordination through to final execution

Candidate:

• Have experience within a similar role in 4 or 5 star hotels
• Demonstrate a strong leadership presence and take a proactive hands on role in order to identify and support colleagues on all levels
• Be an inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams to provide world class service
• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with high expectation guests
• Have experience of running high volume weddings and events in a luxury environment
