Wedding Co-Ordinator

Salary: €40k plus

Location: Kildare

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meet with couples to discuss their wedding vision, preferences, and budget.
  • Assist couples with choosing wedding packages, services, and vendors.
  • Create detailed wedding timelines and ensure all details are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Liaise with external vendors (caterers, photographers, entertainment, etc.) to ensure smooth coordination on the wedding day.
  • Manage contracts, payments, and confirm bookings for all wedding-related services.
  • Oversee setup and breakdown of the venue, ensuring all vendors meet expectations and adhere to schedules.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including room setups, ceremony arrangements, reception layout, and other requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to the timeline, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate last-minute changes.
  • Act as the point of contact for all wedding-related inquiries and concerns on the event day.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the bride, groom, wedding party, and guests.
  • Ensure all guest needs are met, including any special accommodations or requests.
  • Oversee the smooth flow of events, including the arrival of guests, seating arrangements, and transitions between ceremony and reception.
  • Handle any issues or emergencies promptly and professionally, maintaining a calm and organized approach.
  • Address any unforeseen challenges during the event to ensure an unforgettable experience for the couple.
  • Ensure the wedding couple is satisfied with the event and address any post-event inquiries.
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve future services.

 

Candidate:

  • Previous experience in event coordination, preferably in the hospitality or wedding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of wedding traditions, trends, and etiquette.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing event logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in event planning software or tools.
  • Knowledge of the local wedding vendor scene is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative and flexible mindset.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
