Deputy General Manager

Salary: DOE

Location: Galway

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in departmental duties, promoting a positive work ethic.
  •  Encourage team involvement, initiative, and continuous improvement through a hands-on approach.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all hotel departments.
  • Work closely with managers and their teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Strive to surpass guest expectations at every turn.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with fellow managers and teams.
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager or Group Management Team.

 

Candidate:

  • Strong understanding of food and beverage, coffee, wine, and cocktails.
  • Experience in front office operations is a plus.
  • Proven exemplary guest service and sales skills.
  • A degree or diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management is preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Hotsoft and Point of Sale systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
