Salary: €35k plus

Location: Westmeath

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To assist and carry out training as required and to document the same.
• To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints, and issues that arise in the Bar, Brasserie & Restaurant.
• To ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner.
• To deal with all complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and inform the senior manager.
• Attend the weekly Head’s of Department meetings, in absence of Food & Beverage Manager.
• Assist with recruitment and selection for Food & Beverage outlets
• Assist in the day to day running of the Food & Beverage Outlets
• Assistants to ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are practiced at all times.
• Assist the F&B Manager and Departmental Managers with Performance Management
• Assist in the management of Weekly Rosters
• Maintain and audit hygiene levels
• Maintain and audit food quality levels with Executive Head Chef and Food & Beverage Manager
• Take control and responsibility for all F&B outlets
• Take every opportunity to maximize revenue.
• Lead a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Food & Beverage Supervisors and Food & Beverage

Candidate:

• A Minimum of 2 years experience at Manager level in a 4* Hotel
• Possess Strong Leadership qualities
• Excellent communication, organisation & people management skills
• Ability to train new & existing staff
• Have an excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage & a strong eye for detail
• Possess the ability to perform under pressure
• Availability to work 5 over 7 days for both opening and closing shifts
• A strong level of HACCP
• Knowledge of Budgeting and Rostering
