Assistant F&B Manager
Salary: €35k plus
Location: Westmeath
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To assist and carry out training as required and to document the same.
- To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints, and issues that arise in the Bar, Brasserie & Restaurant.
- To ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner.
- To deal with all complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and inform the senior manager.
- Attend the weekly Head’s of Department meetings, in absence of Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist with recruitment and selection for Food & Beverage outlets
- Assist in the day to day running of the Food & Beverage Outlets
- Assistants to ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are practiced at all times.
- Assist the F&B Manager and Departmental Managers with Performance Management
- Assist in the management of Weekly Rosters
- Maintain and audit hygiene levels
- Maintain and audit food quality levels with Executive Head Chef and Food & Beverage Manager
- Take control and responsibility for all F&B outlets
- Take every opportunity to maximize revenue.
- Lead a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Food & Beverage Supervisors and Food & Beverage
Candidate:
- A Minimum of 2 years experience at Manager level in a 4* Hotel
- Possess Strong Leadership qualities
- Excellent communication, organisation & people management skills
- Ability to train new & existing staff
- Have an excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage & a strong eye for detail
- Possess the ability to perform under pressure
- Availability to work 5 over 7 days for both opening and closing shifts
- A strong level of HACCP
- Knowledge of Budgeting and Rostering
