Director of Conference & Banqueting €65k 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Director of Conference & Banqueting for our client, we are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the department, take a hands-on approach with the team to deliver an excellent standard of service to the clients. This may suit an experience C&B Manager coming from a busy property looking to take the next step in their career. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and events
• Actively lead the banquet team to ensure optimum service to guests and meeting planner satisfaction
• Manage, train and ensure the performance of assigned Banqueting Staff.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure all details are addressed.
• Monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness for the department. 

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• 4* or 5* experience would be a distinct advantage
• Strong leadership and communication skills
