Director of Food & Beverage
We are currently recruiting for a Director of Food and Beverage for our client, we are looking for a passionate manager that has excellent attention to detail, is standard driven, has an excellent food & beverage knowledge and can manage all financial aspects of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all facets of the Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service, ensuring excellence in service.
- To be commercially aware and focused on revenue generation and cost control across the hotel.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Leadership team on the overall strategy of the department.
- Foster a culture and environment of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Work closely with Human Resources to attract, hire and retain the right talent.
- Have an ability to develop close relationships with suppliers in order to develop a local F&B offering.
- Standards focused with the ability to inspire the F&B team to deliver the same standards.
- Use technology and systems to the departments advantage.
- Lead the F&B team on the management of stock and work closely with the Executive Chef on the management of HACCP.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous senior experience in a 5* or luxury 4* property
- Must possess excellent organisational skills, strong leadership, and people management skills
- Strong understanding of operational controls, budgeting, payroll, and forecasting
- Must have excellent verbal and written English.
